Biaxial fiberglass consists of two non-woven layers at 0/90 degree fiber angles. Polyester yarn and mat backing are used to knit the cloth. Using biaxal fiberglass cloth means less resin is necessary, the ability to lay fiber in the direction you want, and conforms easily. This is E-glass fiberglas with 0/90 degree fiber orientation. Light stitching used to hold together. Features flat, crimped fibers, and also lends higher stiffness compared to woven. Great for reinforcing and repair jobs.
