TOPCOATS
Top coat is a high-viscosity resin layer with added color filler. Top coat most often is used to paint glass plastic parts. The material can be applied by hand or sprayed with a gun. After hardening the topcoat at -24h at room temperature, it can be grinded and polished. Mechanically it also works as a detachable protective layer, especially for friction, as well as it provides protection from moisture and protection against ultraviolet rays.
The top coat is used as a protective layer against friction, moisture and ultraviolet radiation. The difference from gel coat is the addition of paraffin to ensure complete solidification. It is not possible to add additional layers to the top coat.
